Maurice Dupont is in his second season as a graduate assistant in for the Academic Advising department. He previously was a member of Seneca Disciplinary Center where he helped children with behavior issues get the tools to become proper students. Dupont makes the transition after earning two varsity letters as a member of the football team, serving primarily as the Lions' fullback.

A Vallejo, Calif., native, Dupont spent two years at Solano Junior College before transferring to A&M-Commerce in 2008. He earned his bachelor's degree of Science in Sociology, and is currently pursuing his master's degree in counseling.
