Commerce, Texas – No. 1 seed and No. 11 ranked A&M-Commerce will host No. 2 seed and No. 10 ranked Midwestern State in a rematch of the defacto Lone Star Conference regular season championship game Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Memorial Stadium in the LSC Playoff Championship, which will be broadcasted on the American Sports Network.
 
The Lions took the first meeting between the two programs 27-14 to claim the programs 22nd LSC Championship.
 
The two teams are ranked No. 2 (A&M-Commerce) and No. 3 (MSU) in the Super Region 4 Rankings with both teams likely to stay in the NCAA Playoff hunt despite Saturday's outcome.
