A&M-COMMERCE ATHLETICS TO HOLD SERIES OF TOWN HALL MEETINGS

COMMERCE, Texas – Texas A&M University-Commerce Athletic Director Ryan Ivey today announced a schedule for nine Lion Town Hall meetings over the next month at several locations throughout the region.

As mentioned in his introductory press conference, Ivey’s vision for these meetings is to get out and meet those who support the Lion Athletic program and give supporters a chance to voice their ideas and concerns on how to strengthen A&M-Commerce Athletics.

"This is a great opportunity for the A&M-Commerce Athletic Department and the Northeast Texas region to come together for one purpose; to make A&M-Commerce Athletics better,” Ivey said. “My staff and I are extremely interested in the opinions of many of our stakeholders and want to provide an open communication platform for ideas and feedback.”

Ivey has compiled a list of questions concerning a number of different aspects of the Athletic Department which will be distributed at each of the Town Hall meetings. Attendees are encouraged to voice their opinions, concerns and suggestions, as all responses will be recorded and taken into consideration.

Nine Town Hall meetings are scheduled at this time with dates, times and locations listed below. For those who are unable to participate in any of the Town Hall meetings but still want to weigh in on their thoughts for the Athletic Department, a PDF link of the questions is attached above.
