A&M-Commerce Men's Basketball and Men's Golf Volunteer at Commerce Lions Club Carnival
Members of the Texas A&M
University-Commerce men's basketball and men's golf teams and
coaching staff volunteered recently at the Commerce Lions Club
Carnival.
During the carnival, the basketball players ran a booth where
participants could make baskets for prizes. The golfers ran a booth
where participants could make a putt for a prize. With each
contestant, making a contribution to the Commerce Lions
Club.
The mission of the Lions Club is to: "To empower volunteers to
serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace
and promote international understanding through Lions
clubs." The Commerce Lions Club meets every Tuesday at noon at
the Ben E. Keith reception room.
