Robert Ford is in his second season as an assistant coach at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Ford played four seasons of collegiate ball at the Division I level. Ford played two seasons for Eastern Michigan, appearing in 33 games and shooting 38.9 percent from the floor and 78.6 percent from the free throw line.

Ford then played two seasons at South Alabama, appearing in 46 games for the Jaguars and finishing with 87 career points. In 2008, he started 16 games for the Jaguars, helping South Alabama to the Sun Belt Conference regular season championship and an NCAA tournament berth.

Ford earned his degree in communications from Eastern Michigan in 2010 and spent one season as the head junior varsity and assistant varsity coach at Grand Rapids Christian High School.
