Future Lion Performs Well at Lone Star Bowl
In the recent Lone Star Bowl, featuring many of the top high school football players in the state, A&M-Commerce was represented by incoming freshman Jordan Wright of Clear Creek High School.
Wright caught four passes for 65 yards, ran a reverse for 14 yards and a touchdown. In addition, he also returned three kicks for 73 yards on the evening.
Wright and the Lions will report to fall camp on Thursday, August 6th and begin preparations for the 2009 season. Season tickets are now available by contacting the A&M-Commerce athletic department at 903-886-5558.
