Adam Farkes Named Lone Star Conference North Division Offensive Player of the Week
In his first collegiate start at Texas A&M University-Commerce junior quarterback Adam Farkes completed 32 of 61 passes for a school record 447 yards and four touchdowns in a 76-56 loss by the Lions to Eastern New Mexico on Saturday night.
Farkes nearly broke the school record with 32 completions (record: 33) on 61 attempts (record: 63).
Farkes and the Lions will host the University of Central Oklahoma in the home opener at Memorial Stadium on Saturday at 6 pm (CST).
