Tim Brooks is in his second season as an assistant coach for A&M-Commerce, working primarily with the Lion wide receivers.

In 2012, A&M-Commerce formed a dynamic one-two receiving corps in senior Tyler Rawlings and junior Garrett Smith. Smith ranked among the LSC leaders in both catches and receptions while Rawlings capped his impressive A&M-Commerce career with over 400 receiving yards.

Brooks comes to Commerce after spending the 2010-11 season at his alma mater, the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas, assuming main responsibilities for the Spier wide receivers.

A Lovelock, Nevada native, Brooks graduated from Saint Mary with a degree in mathematics in 2011. He played for the Spires for four seasons at both the wide receiver and quarterback positions and was named a Bay Valley Academic All-Conference selection in 2007. Brooks was also a member of the dean's list four times and was an honor roll student.
