Jordan Roper is in his third season as an assistant coach for A&M-Commerce, working primarily with the Lions' A-backs and tight ends.

For the past two seasons, Roper has worked with A&M-Commerce offensive linemen, assisting former head coach Guy Morriss. He originally signed to play football at Howard Payne, but suffered a career-ending injury after his freshman year.

A native of Fort Worth, Roper lettered seven times in three sports at Brewer High School. He is currently pursuing his degree in kinesiology at A&M-Commerce and plans to earn his master's degree following graduation.
