Meet Information for 2010 Jesse Hawthorne Relays

Entry Fee: $125 per team (combined $250 for boys and girls team).
Entries: All entries must be submitted online at www.directathletics.com. No faxed entries will be accepted. Please follow the directions and make sure you a printed hard copy for your records after you have entered your athletes. No additions, changes or substitutions will be allowed on the day of the meet.
Info Pickup: Please pick up meet information, pay entry free, and make scratches on sheets provided at the press box in Memorial Stadium upon arrival.
Scratches: Please scratches on the Heat Sheets located at the press box in Memorial Stadium as you Scratches only, no additions or substitutions on the day of the meet!
Heats/Sections: All heats will be run as sections against time as finals.
Scoring: Places first through fifth will be scored in the following manner: 10-8-6-4-2-1
Awards: Awards will be presented to the top relay team in each event.
Clerking Area: The clerking/check-in area will be located in the tent at the south end of the stadium. Every member of the relay team must check in at least 15 minutes prior to the race. Spikes must be presented for inspection at the check in station.
Field Events: Three competitors will be allowed per school. Three attempts per athlete in the long jump, shot put and discus. The distance of the three athletes will be added together for the team total.
High Jump: Three competitors will be allowed per school. The height of the three athletes will be added together for the team total.
Results: Results will be posted in the hallway in side of Memorial Stadium as soon as possible after each event. Complete results will be available at the conclusion of the meet at the Memorial Stadium press box OR here online at http://www.lionathletics.com.
Spikes/Surface: No larger than 1/4" exposed pyramids on the track and all jumping surfaces. No pin spikes or Christmas tree spikes allowed. All throwing circles are concrete.
Admission: $5 - adults; $3 - students: Free - children under 3
Athletic Trainers: Trainers will be available for taping and limited treatment at the football locker room building located at the northeast corner of the of facility. Please provide own athletic training materials.
