      <description>The Lions had a rough start early in the season, but after a tough loss to West Texas (Jan. 4th), the Lion&#x2019;s freshmen came together under the wing of sophomore forward Breanna Harris and sophomore guard Danielle Dixon, who led the Lions statistically all season. Harris dominated for the Lions with ten double-doubles, while notching 221 rebounds. Harris fell 8 points short of being the leading scorer to Danielle Dixon.</description>

      <description>The Lions had their hands full these last two games facing off against a seasoned Incarnate Word team and the reigning champions Texas Woman&#x2019;s University. The Lions had a tough game against Incarnate Word falling, 79-49. Breanna Harris and Danielle Dixon kept the Lions in the game generating more than half the team points (25). The Lions would then go to Denton, Texas to face an even tougher Texas Woman&#x2019;s team and holding their own all evening. The Lions would give the Pioneers a run for their money pulling within 2 points with 8 minutes left in the game. Breanna Harris would highlight this night as well pulling in 17 rebounds and scoring 14 points for her third double-double with the Lions. A&amp;M-Commerce would ultimately drop the game 72-58.</description>
