Opening Tip:With Texas Woman's loss to Abilene Christian on Tuesday night the Lions magic number to clinch a spot in the LSC tournament is 1. The Lions need to win one more game or have the Pioneers loss one more time and the Lions will be heading to Allen for the LSC tournament. It would be the first conference tournament for Head Coach Nicole Anderson. The Lions ended a four game slide last weekend with the win against Texas A&M-Kingsville. The win gave the Lions the sweep of the Javelinas for the season. A&M-Kingsville is the second opponent the Lions have swept this season with Texas Woman's being the other opponent. This is first season since 2008-09 that the Lions have swept two conference opponents. The double-header on Saturday is pushed back to 5:00 and 7:00 due to UIL Region II-3A Playoffs.
