Dallas, Texas- Facing the second top ten team is as many games, the Lions were unable to muster much offense versus the Patriots of Dallas Baptist falling 2-0 in Dallas.

During the opening 45 minutes the Lion offense could not get many scoring chances. Being held without a shot and only having two corner kicks; surely puts pressure on the defense. Fortunately the Lions defense was able to keep the Patriots at bay despite facing eight shots and defending four corner kicks. The game was still tied at the half.

Dallas Baptist was able to control the ball during the first 20 minutes of the half and was able to capitalize twice thanks to Lindsey Eccles scoring in the 59th minute; shot from 20 yards out, and again just one minute later off a feed from Baylie Hill.

Substitute Allie Burks came off the bench in the second half and forced goalie Kerry Woods to make save that led to three corner kicks for A&M-Commerce but the Lions were unable to get anything past Edwards in goal. Eva Brutto tried to cut the lead in half in the 82nd minute but her shot went wide.

Goalkeeper Tracey Rodgers returned in goal for the Lions after leaving the previous game against Fort Lewis with an injury and record six saves.

Nest up for A&M-Commerce is another road game this time against Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. The Lady Bison come into this game winless on the season and also shutout for the season so far. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Searcy.
