LIONS TRAVEL TO ABILENE CHRISTIAN AND MIDWESTERN STATE

OPENING KICK
The Lions travel to Abilene and Midwestern to try to get back into the top half of the Lone Star Conference standings. A&M-Commerce is 1-0 against Abilene Christian and 0-1 against Midwestern State.

SCOUTING THE WILCATS
The preseason pick to win the LSC has had a tough season and currently sits in last place. The Wildcats are led by Julie Coppedge (#5) with eight points (4 goals). Krysta Grimm (#3) and Andrea Carpenter (#2) are second on the team with three goals. The Wildcats have only three assists as a team which is last in the Lone Star Conference. In goal for Abilene Christian is Arielle Moncure who has played in all 15 games. Moncure has recorded 70 saves and a .787 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE MUSTANGS
Midwestern State currently sits at .500, 4-4-3, and is only three points ahead of A&M-Commerce in the conference standings. On the season MSU is currently 1-5-1 at home but the Lions are only 1-4 on the road.  Ashley Cottrell (#22) leads the Mustangs in points with 10 points. Payton Fookes (#16) is second on the team with eight points on three goals and two assists. In goal for the Mustangs is Mallory Whitworth (#1) has recorded 65 saves and 1.29 goals against average.
