Lions Celebrate A&M-Commerce Staff Thursday
The success of the A&M-Commerce volleyball team on the court is only one aspect of the Lions' experience as a handful of faculty and staff help the Lions succeed off the court as well. To show its appreciation for all the hard work that goes largely unnoticed, the Lions are holding a Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night on Thursday, October 13. All A&M-Commerce faculty and staff members will be admitted to the match free of charge with their University ID card.

The Week That Was
A&M-Commerce hosted Dallas Baptist in a non-conference game Tuesday, and after falling behind 2-1 rallied to win the final two sets to earn a 3-2 victory over the Patriots. The Lions then hit the road to close out the first half of the Lone Star Conference season, dropping a 3-0 decision to 14 th-ranked West Texas A&M Friday in Canyon, Texas. But A&M-Commerce responded two nights later, roaring past Eastern New Mexico 3-0 in Portales, N.M. The Lions have now won three of their last four matches and four of the last six.

Rachel Robertson continues to make her mark for A&M-Commerce on the season as she recorded 20 kills in the 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Dallas Baptist Tuesday.
