FORT WORTH – After getting rained out last week at the Missouri Southern Stampede, A&M-Commerce made the short drive to Fort Worth for the Texas Wesleyan Ram Rumble as three freshmen competed in the event.

Brooke Farris was the top Lion finisher, placing sixth with a time of 20:37. She finished less than 20 seconds ahead of teammate Caroline Cotsakis, who checked in at 8^th (20:56). Fellow freshman Kendall Christmas had a strong showing as well, placing 15^th with a time of 22:08.

Up next for A&M-Commerce is a trip to Stillwater, Okla., competing in the always challenging Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree on Saturday, Oct. 1.
