The Hawkins Family has been a staple of Lion Athletics for well over 60 years. Kathy Campbell, LuAnne Bourland, and Ray Hawkins have followed their father, coach Ernest Hawkins’ footsteps in advancing the legacy of Lion Athletics. Children of the winningest coach in lion football history, Kathy, LuAnne, and Ray have continued the tradition set by their parents with the Ernest Hawkins football endowment. The Hawkins family has amassed 11 degrees from A&M-Commerce over three generations and they can be seen in the stands cheering on their beloved Lions.
