Football • 1961-63
Orville Hudson played three years at linebacker for the Lions under Lion Hall of Fame coach J.V. Sikes. He was the team center on offense and was a starting linebacker on defense. During is senior season, Hudson was named a First Team All-American by three different organizations and was a All-LSC selection in all three of his years in a Lion uniform. Hudson was voted Team MVP in both his junior and senior seasons.
Following his collegiate career, Hudson was drafted in the 13th round of the 1964 AFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
