HOW IT HAPPENED (Game One)

The Lions extended their lead to 2-1 in the second when LeBlanc led off with a double and pinch runner
Da'Jia Davis forced the Rambelles into a poor decision. She stole third with the third baseman playing in off the bag, and the ASU catcher threw the ball into left field, allowing Davis to score.
A&M-Commerce was limited to three baserunners in the next four innings on singles from LeBlanc, Dutton, and
Mackenzie Dugi (St. Hedwig – East Central), with only one runner reaching scoring position.
LeBlanc worked out of numerous jams, stranding three runners in scoring position from the second through sixth innings. ASU tied the game in the top of the seventh after a walk, a single, and a Barnhill RBI single. LeBlanc escaped with no further damage, leaving the bases full.
Kinsie Hebler (Cy-Fair) led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk and pinch runner
Jasmine Mott (Emory – Rains) moved to second on a sacrifice bunt and stole third. With two outs, Dutton stepped up and laced a single to left to score the winning run.

HOW IT HAPPENED (Game Two)
ASU's Hatty Shope plated the first two runs of the game in the second, with an early two-run homer. It was her first round-tripper of the season.
The Lions left the bases full with one out in the third after the Moody and Dutton hits and a Schaefer walk. Two strikeouts in succession ended the threat.
Otto stranded Rambelles on base in the third and fifth and allowed a run on an RBI groundout in the sixth, but was effective throughout.
The Lions had the leadoff batter reach on walks in the sixth and seventh, but both were erased on fielder's choices, and ASU pitcher Genesis Armendariz held the Lions off the board.
