Will Watkins joined the Lion Athletic family in July 2019 as an Assistant Coach for the Women’s Basketball team. He comes to A&M-Commerce after serving as a Marketing Intern & Sales Intern for the Milwaukee Bucks.

As a 2018 Summer Intern, Watkins worked with the Milwaukee Bucks NBA 2K League team as well as the Community Relations, Marketing, and Sales departments. During the 2017-18 season, he helped the Bucks to a 42-40 record and a playoff berth as the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference. Watkins was involved in Alumni gifting, implementing promotion plans and sales for the newly built Fiserv Forum.

Watkins earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University-Wisconsin Parkside. He played football at the college level and in high school was a four year starter for football and basketball. Watkins is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

His mother Tamara lives in Texas. Watkins' father Willie lives in Milwaukee along with his two sisters, Tomeka and Ashley.
