Luke Scribner joined the A&M-Commerce staff as assistant track and field (distance) and cross country coach and sports performance coach in August of 2018.
Prior to joining the Lions, Scribner was the head cross country coach at Melissa HS for two years, where he led the Cardinals' boys team to the district and regional championship in both seasons as head coach. He coached four individual district champions and five individuals who placed in the top 10 at the Class 4A championships.
Scribner is familiar with the Lone Star Conference, as he ran at Tarleton from 2013-16. He was an all-Lone Star Conference cross country runner and Academic All-American. He ran for one year at McMurry, where he was a NCCAA All-American and Academic All-American.
He graduated from Tarleton with a bachelor of science in kinesiology in 2016.
