Commerce, Texas – The A&M-Commerce Athletics department has released new details and location for all home football games for the 2015 season.
The new location for tailgating will be along the frontage road and in the grass between the frontage road and the Music Building, just south of the home side stands. The new spot will combine student and fan tailgating for a better game day experience.
Tailgating spots along the Service Road can be reserved for $100 all season or for $25 per game, which includes two parking spaces. Four spots along the street will be held for student groups and are free of charge. Student groups will rotate usage of the four tailgating spots along the street. The additional 19 spots in the grass are free of charge for anyone that would like to tailgate. All student groups and fans are encouraged to reserve spots by calling (903) 886-5558, but it is not required. Maps will be located throughout the tailgate area to show if spots are reserved or open on the day of the game.
Traffic will be one way on the frontage road running from North to South. Traffic can only enter from Live Oak. Parallel parking along the west side of the road will remain first come first served. The east side of the frontage road is reserved for tailgating parking only.
A stage area will also be in the new tailgating area with a DJ to further improve the Lion fan experience. All tailgating rules and regulations can be found on the Lions webpage at www.lionathletics.com.
For more information on tailgating fans can call (903) 886-5558.
