INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Kinsie Hebler hit a double in the first inning.
- Baylea Higgs also had an infield hit.
- Katie Dean had a strikeout in the circle as she got the start. Selena Rima also made an appearance, giving up no runs in her one inning of action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Hebler had a double for the Lions in the top of the first but was not brought around. WT hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first to take a 2-0 lead after one complete inning.

The Lions were unable to get a hit in the second inning. The Lady Buffs brought five more runs across in the bottom of the inning, hitting two home runs to bring their lead to 7-0.

The Lions had a good chance for a run in the third inning. Higgs had a single and a throwing error put her in scoring position. But a good defensive play by the WT pitcher robbed the next batter of a hit and the Lions were held scoreless. The Lady Buffs scored again on a sacrifice fly and led 8-0 after three.

Neither team was able to score in the fourth inning. The Lions had one more chance in the fifth inning but were unable to score and the game ended.
