COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce soccer team's Ashley Campuzano has been named this week's Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week after totaling three points in the win over McNeese, which locked up the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament for the Lions.  
 
Campuzano (Dallas – Atlas Prep) had an assist on the first goal of the day in Greenville on Saturday and then added a penalty kick goal as well in the 2-1 win over the Cowgirls. In her freshman season, Campuzano has logged over 85 minutes per match, while totaling 11 points.
 
The win on Saturday clinched the No. 3 seed for A&M-Commerce, who faces No. 6 seed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in the first round of the Southland Conference Tournament on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The Lions finished third in the conference after being picked eighth in the preseason.
 
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week will be awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year.
