COMMERCE – After a 2-1 week, Texas A&M University-Commerce men's basketball guard Demarcus Demonia is this week's Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
Demonia (Fort Washington, Md.) guided the Lions to wins at Hawaii as well as at home against Arlington Baptist and falling on the road to Denver. He averaged 14.7 points per game and five rebounds per game, scoring 13 points each at Denver and Hawaii and scored 18 in 12 minutes against Arlington Baptist. He leads the Southland in scoring, with an average of 16.0 points per game.
 
The Lions are on the road for two games this week, heading to Wyoming on Tuesday at 7 p.m. mountain time and at Abilene Christian on Saturday at 2 p.m.
 
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week is awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year.
