COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce track & field team members Delan Edwin and Candesha Scott have been tabbed as the Under Armour Student-Athletes of the Week on Monday morning.
 
Edwin (Castries, Saint Lucia) set the school and facility record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 20.70, which is also third in the country. He also raced to a time of 10.28 seconds in the 100 meter dash, which is seventh in the country.


 
Scott (St. David, Grenada) had a personal best mark of 162 feet 7 inches in the javelin on Thursday at the East Texas Quad. That mark is the new school and facility record, while also second in the country.


 
The Lions head down to Kingsville to compete in the Lone Star Conference Championships, which run from Thursday through Saturday.  
 
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week will be awarded by Lion Athletics each week through the remainder of the academic year.
