COMMERCE – Following a weekend in which she set the school record, Texas A&M University-Commerce student-athlete Naomi Ndukwe has been named as this week's Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
Ndukwe (Perserville, France) started the season with a record-setting time in the 600 yard run last week and went on to top that time at Oklahoma. She timed 1:23.55 to finish second among all runners and that time is the new school record.
 
This weekend, the Lions are scheduled to take part in the New Mexico Team Open and the Colorado Invitational on Friday-Saturday.
 
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week is awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year.
