COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce men's basketball guard
C.J. Roberts has been selected as this week's Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week following the game-winner over Houston Christian on Saturday.
Roberts (Irving – Richland) went the length of the court to drill a layup with 0.2 seconds left on Saturday to lift the Lions, 77-76, over the Huskies. He averaged eight points per game in the two wins for the Lions last week.

A&M-Commerce is 6-3 in Southland Conference play, being tied for second place in the standings. The Lions play at Nicholls on Thursday at 7 p.m. and host McNeese on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week is awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year.
