COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce women's basketball guard Mia Deck has been named as this week's Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week.
 
Deck (Frisco – Lone Star) averaged seven points per game and four rebounds per game in two wins for the Lions last week. She scored 11 and grabbed five rebounds against Nicholls, while recording four assists at McNeese. A&M-Commerce is 3-0 in Southland Conference play, one of two remaining undefeated teams.
 
This week, the Lions are at Houston Christian on Thursday at 5 p.m. and host Lamar on Saturday at 2 p.m.
 
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week is awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year.
