COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce women's basketball student-athlete Ahmya Boyce has been named the Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.
 
In the come-from-behind win over Utah Tech, Boyce (Newport News, Va.) scored 19 points to go along with three steals and an assist. She shot 6 for 8 from the distance as the Lions made 14 three pointers in the win over the Trailblazers.
 
The Lions head to the Pacific Northwest this week, playing at Washington State, who is nationally ranked, on Wednesday at 7 p.m. pacific, and Idaho on Friday at 6 p.m. pacific.
