COMMERCE – Texas A&M University-Commerce softball team's
Diamond Sefe has been selected as this week's Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week.
Sefe (Carson, Calif.) batted .545 last weekend with four of the five games coming against teams that played in the NCAA tournament last season. She had one home run and four RBIs as well, while posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage behind the plate.
The Lions won the last two games in Arizona with wins over CSUN and a walk-off win over reigning Big Sky Conference champion, Weber State. A&M-Commerce's next scheduled games are next Tuesday at North Texas, with the doubleheader starting at 4 p.m.
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week is awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year.
