COMMERCE – Hannah Bell from the Texas A&M University-Commerce soccer team is named the first Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week of the 2023-24 year on Monday.
 
Bell (Duncanville) scored her first career goal in her first career collegiate match on Thursday in the 2-2 tie against Oral Roberts. She also added three shots on Sunday at Tarleton.
 
The Lion soccer team went 0-1-1 in its first week of the season. This week, A&M-Commerce hosts Tulsa on Thursday at 7 p.m. and faces North Texas on the road on Sunday at 7 p.m.
 
The Under Armour Student-Athlete of the Week will be awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year.
