COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University men's basketball player Ronnie Harrison and volleyball player Nevaeh Smith are this week's Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week. 
 
Harrison (Forney) averaged 14.7 points per game in the three games for the Lions last week, shooting 53.3 percent from the field. He scored 20 in the home win over Arlington Baptist and then added 18 points at New Mexico and scored six at Hawaii. He also added 18 rebounds, six assists, and four steals. The Lions play at Rice on Friday this week at 7 p.m.  
 
Smith (San Antonio - O'Connor) had 18 kills and nine blocks in the two wins for the Lions last week over Northwestern State. She totaled 11 kills on a hitting percentage of .300 as well as five blocks in the road win on Thursday and then added seven kills and four blocks in the home win on Saturday. The Lions close out the regular season at home against A&M-Corpus Christi on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and UTRGV on Saturday at 11 a.m.
