FRISCO – East Texas A&M University women's golfer
Marie Baertz has been named to first team all-Southland Conference on Thursday morning, the first for the Lions in the Division I era.
Baertz (Luxembourg) was twice named the Southland Conference Women's Golfer of the Month during the 2024-25 season and recorded five top 10 finishes during the season, which included being tied for second at the SLC Championships last week.
She had a scoring average of 75.5 during the season and currently holds a player ranking of No. 699 by Clippd, which is the second highest for any Southland golfer. Baertz also helped the Lions tie for second at the conference championships last week.
