COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University football player Christian Jourdain and volleyball player Gracie Campbell are this week's Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week. 
 
Jourdain (New Orleans) totaled 119 yards on seven catches in the Lions home opener against NC Central last Saturday. He also had one receiving touchdown in the game. 
 
The Lion football team faces Northwestern State on the road on Saturday at 6 p.m.   
 
In two of the three matches last week, Campbell (Klein Oak) had a double-double. She picked up 22 kills and 12 digs in the Lions' five set win on Monday over Abilene Christian and then added 14 kills and nine digs against HCU as well as another double against UIW, racking up 20 kills and 23 digs. 

The Lion volleyball team heads down to A&M-Corpus Christi on Thursday at 11 a.m. and UTRGV at noon on Saturday this week.
