COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University softball outfielder Isabella Arzola and men's golfer Matt Walters are this week's Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week. 

Arzola (Chino, Calif.) batted .500 in four games last week, which included a double and a pair of runs driven in. She had two multi-hit games as well against Grambling and the first game of the series at Northwestern State. The Lion softball team heads to Nicholls this week for a conference series Thursday-Friday.  

Walters (Ballito, South Africa) tied for ninth place last week at the Austin Peay Intercollegiate with a score of 214 to help the Lions finish seventh as a team. The Lion men's golf team is gearing up for the Southland Conference Championships on April 20-22 in Kerrville.
