COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University track and field student-athletes Jonas Gran and Sanae Hassnaoui are this week's Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week. 

Gran (Riehen, Switzerland) completed the decathlon at the Texas Relays last week, finishing fourth with 7,302 points, which leads the Southland Conference, while being seventh in the country.  

Hassnaoui (Midelt, Morocco) broke the school record in the 1,500 meter run twice last week at the Bobcat Invitational and the Texas Relays. Her season-best time of 4:17:10 is second in the conference and 19th in the West Region.  

The Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week is awarded by Lion Athletics each week during the academic year in partnership with Dixie Turman State Farm Agency.
