Uphold and promote a culture of compliance and set an accountability standard for the A&M-Commerce campus, community, and all constituents.  

Maintain a comprehensive and effective compliance education plan Continue coaches’ education sessions and mandate a minimum attendance of 60% Require annual completion of NCAA DII University modules for all coaches and staff members Continue student-athlete education and create an interactive Lucky’s Compliance Club Engage Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) in education plan and promote dialogue with coaches and student-athletes   Foster a campus and community culture of rules, integrity, and institutional control Collaborate with Financial Aid and Student Accounts offices for proper oversight and controls Distribute quarterly compliance communication to Lion Champions Fund donors Review the institution’s NCAA eligibility certification process to ensure a collaborative approach Annually educate all persons with eligibility-related duties on applicable NCAA legislation   Adhere to institutional policies and procedures Annually review Lion Athletics and institutional strategic plan to ensure alignment Annually review Lion Athletics and institutional Rules and Procedures to ensure alignment   Implement use of technology to improve monitoring and regulatory processes Effectively track all Countable Athletic Related Activities (CARA) Annually review website to reflect current NCAA legislation   Monitor all recruiting activities, camps, and related activities
