2009 (Cross Country): 56th at the LSCChampionships...28th at the West Texas Buffalo Stampede...110th inthe Brooks Memphis Twilight.

Prior to A&M-Commerce: Qualified for thestate track meet his senior year in the 3,200-meter run while atLingleville High School, in addition to qualifying for the statemeet in cross country...also qualified for regionals in the1,600-meter run...lettered all four years in both cross country andtrack at Lingleville...also competed in tennis andbasketball...valedictorian of his high school graduating class.

Personal: Born October 19, 1990...son ofSalvador and Enedelia Tamayo...a psychology major.
