Prior to A&M-Commerce: A three-yearletterwinner in cross country and track and field at Wills PointHigh School...finished eighth as a senior at the state crosscountry meet, and fourth at the state track meet in the 3,200-meterrun...served as cross country team captain during his senioryear...chosen as school's Runner of the Year during his junior andsenior year...earned all-state honors as a junior...team finishedfifth at the state cross country meet as a sophomore andjunior...holds the school record in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter run.
