2021: The second-year sophomore made an appearance in the field against Texas A&M International (5/14).

2020: Played in one game during the ultimately canceled season... Pitched 0.2 innings against Southern Arkansas (2/8), recording one strikeout.

2019: Appeared in eight games in the circle, finishing the season with a 2-1 record in 17.2 innings pitched... Recorded two strikeouts... Recorded wins against Colorado Mines (2/3) and Angelo State (3/30).

Prior to A&M Commerce: Four-year letter winner in softball at River Road... As a senior, went 24-4 with a 2.30 ERA... Struck out 201 batters against just 28 walks with four perfect games and nine shutouts... As a batter, hit .731 with an .809 OBP with eight home runs, seven triples 21 doubles and 61 RBIs... Was a four-time All-District MVP and a four-time All-State Honorable Mention... Set school records for most strikeouts (657) and most wins (98) and also set the school record for most gold gloves won... Team won both the district and bi-district championship in all four of her seasons with two area championships and one regional quarterfinal championship.
 
Personal: Born March 2, 2000... Daughter of Jason and Christina Velasquez... Her brother, Dom, plays for the A&M-Commerce football team.
