Prior toA&M-Commerce: Edwards returns to the area afterspending the last two years at the University of NewOrleans...during the 2007-08 season, she played in 12 games for thePrivateers, where she saw her most action against TexasA&M...as a freshman, in 2006-07, she saw action in 23 contests,averaging 7.3 minutes a contest...scored a season-high six pointsagainst Centenary and Nicholls State and had seven-or-more reboundsin three games, including a career-high nine againstLouisiana-Lafayette...prior to attending UNO, she was a two-sportathlete at Paris High School, where she lettered in both basketballand volleyball...an All-Red River Valley selection and the District12-4A MVP en route to leading Paris to a runner-up finish in thedistrict.
