Connor Lewis joined the East Texas A&M athletic department as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in July 2023.
Lewis came to East Texas out of graduate school at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While at OSU, Connor spent time working with student athletes at Broken Arrow High School before traveling to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to work with US Army basic trainees of the 787th MP Battalion in the fall of 2022. Connor also volunteered with the Tulsa Oilers professional hockey team for two seasons while in graduate school. His most recent NCAA Division 1 experience comes from UC San Diego where he spent a season with their conference winning baseball team.
He received his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from Oklahoma State University after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with an Emphasis in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Missouri. Connor is Level 1 IASTM Certified through Hawk Grips and holds a certification in Dry Needling.
