East Texas A&M University Athletics

Jilian Roberts is in her first year with East Texas A&M University, serving as the Graduate Assistant for Equipment Management. In this role, she supports the equipment operations for all 14 athletic programs, working closely with coaches, staff, and student-athletes to ensure each team is fully prepared for practices, games, and daily training. 

Roberts joined East Texas A&M after earning her bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Western Michigan University in the spring of 2025. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Athletic Administration at East Texas A&M. During her time at Western Michigan, she gained valuable hands-on experience as a student equipment manager and served as a student manager for the women’s basketball team. Her passion for behind-the-scenes operations and dedication to supporting athletic success have been key drivers in her career path. 

Originally from Fenton, Michigan, Roberts grew up actively participating in sports and frequently assisting her coaches with equipment needs—experiences that ignited her interest in athletic operations.
