Liz Corriere joined the athletic department as a graduate assistant in August 2022 and was elevated to an Assistant Athletic Trainer in July 2023.
In her first year in Commerce, she worked with the cross country, women's basketball, track & field, soccer, football, and spirit programs. Currently, she works with the volleyball team and spirit teams.
Corriere came to Commerce from Sports Plus Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center in Marshalltown, Iowa. While at Sports Plus, she assisted in the physical therapy center and was the athletic trainer at four local high schools.
She received her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training with dual minors in psychology and medical sociology from Midwestern State, and her Masters in Kinesiology and Sports Studies with concentrations in exercise physiology and sports administration from East Texas A&M.
Corriere is CPR/AED for professional rescuers certified, a member of the National Athletic Training Association, a BOC certified athletic trainer, Integrative Dry Needling certified, IASTM trained, and KTape trained.
