Billy Riebock enters his second season as as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Lions.
In the first season with Riebock as coordinator, the Lions ranked first in the Lone Star Conference and eighth nationally in completion percentage and third in the LSC in total offense. Offensive lineman Amon Simon was named to two All-American teams, two All-Region teams, and was the LSC's Offensive Lineman of the Year. Guard Deion Malone also earned All-Region and First Team All-LSC honors. Eight offensive players earned All-LSC recognition.
Riebock came to A&M-Commerce with an impressive resume. He last served in the same position for Bridgewater College. He led BC to finishing the 2018 season as the conference runner-up. His offensive unit finished the season ranked fifth nationally in Red Zone offense. He produced 3 All-ODAC and 2 All-State selections.
Prior to serving at Bridgewater, Riebock had an extensive background coaching all levels of college football. He worked at every level in the NCAA; Divisions I, II, and III. His vast background provides the experience necessary to be an excellent recruiter.
Riebock worked on Coach Bailiff's staff at Rice University as the Offensive Quality Control Coach. Prior to Rice, he was the wide receivers coach at Elon University, where he coached All-CAA selection Kierre Brown. In 2012 and 2013, He was a graduate assistant coach at Ball State University, helping lead his team to two bowl games; 2012 Beef O’Brady and 2013 GoDaddy Bowl games.
From 2008-2011, he was the Offensive Coordinator at Quincy University. His leadership guided his quarterbacks to receiving All-Conference honors in 2008, 2010, and 2011. The offensive unit broke and set numerous team and individual records. He also worked at Indiana University as the Quality Control coach after starting his coaching career at St. Francis in 2006 as the wide receivers coach.
Riebock was an outstanding athlete. He played quarterback at Quincy University after having a stellar high school career. He received Academic All-Conference his senior season, 2006.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree (Criminal Justice) in 2006 and his Master’s Degree in Education (2011) from Quincy University. He is married to his beautiful wife Emina and has two children (Emila and James). His hobbies is centered around spending time with his family.
