The game between E.T.N.C. and C.H.S. was called at 4:30 Saturday, Nov. 21st. As teams were late arriving it was decided to play only 10 minute quarters and later decided to omit the last quarter.
C.H.S. received at west goal, were held for downs and forced to punt. McGenzie returned 10 yards. After two downs the pass was tried but incomplete. Then Folks carried the ball around right end for 40 yards, was tackled by back safety. Hoc Smith carried around right end for 10 yards. Folks carried ball around left end for 18 yards, advancing within 1 yard of opponents goal. Crow carried ball over for 1st touchdown for E.T.N.C. McKenzie failed to kick goal, C.H.S. received at same goal, carried ball 10 yards and fumbled. Bedwell recovered. E.T.N.C. failed to gain and punted. Back safety of C.H.S. returned 5 yards, were then held for downs and punted. McKenzie returned 10 yard. Folks gained around right end but ball was carried back and Folks penalized for crawling. Dial received a pass for 10 yards. Pass was again tried but incomplete. Ball went over after E.T.N.C. tried a line buck. It was here that C.H.S. began to work the pass to an advantage. The ends laid out and right received a long pass for 15 yards, being tackled by McKenzie. Left end received a pass for eight yds. Right end got away with another but was downed by quarter back. E.T.N.C. recovered a fumble and carried ball to center of field by time 1st half was up. E.T.N.C. received at west goal. Johnson carried the ball within 10 yards of opponents goal, but it was carried back because of spectators on the field. Hoc Smith received a long pass close to the side line for a 12 yard gain. Folks carried for two long end runs around left making a touch-down on second. Folks punted in. McKenzie caught it but failed to kick goal. C.H.S. received at east goal, made a pass to left end for 12 yard. Dial tackled the man. after two downs a pass was made to right end for 10 yards. Jenkins downed the man. An end run resulted in a loss of 5 yards. On third down a pass was completed to right end for 10 yards. McKenzie tackled the man. At this point E.T.N.C. gaol was in most danger. Another pass was incomplete and ball went over. An end run and an incomplete forward pass closed the game with a score of 12 to 0 in favor of E.T.N.C.
