The Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball team posted a 25-18, 30-28, 20-25, 25-17 win over Cameron on Sunday afternoon at the A&M-Commerce Field House.
Senior Terra Ousley and sophomore Rachel Robertson each had 14 kills to pace an A&M-Commerce attack that hit .196 in the win. The win raises the Lions' overall record to 11-12 and 3-7 in the Lone Star Conference.Â
With the defeat, Cameron falls to 7-16 overall and 2-8 in the Lone Star Conference. Megan Olivarez had a match-best 17 kills for the Aggies.
Joining Ousley and Robertson in the attack for the Lions were Naomi Mays, Morgan Moeller and Kayla Bond, who each had eight kills. Bond also added 12 digs and five blocks.
Freshman Jordan Neal, who was celebrating her birthday, had 46 assists, seven digs and three block assists. Sophomore Reagan Hayes had 17 digs and two service aces. As a team, the Lions posted 12 blocks compared to eight by the Aggies.
The Lions are back in action on Monday at 6 p.m. when they take on Arkansas-Monticello. Â
