The vicotry was a complete team effort with five players scoring in double figures: Desmond King (17), Brad Hambrick (15), Austin Brown, Stefon Carson, and Preston Whitley each scoring 14.  as a team the Lions dished-out 23 assist and gathered in 37 rebounds, with Tyris Dowell collecting 10 of these.  The defensive effort is what drove the Lions to this vicotry as they held the Cardinals to 43% field-goal shooting and 8% three-point shooting.

The Lions will be back in action at the Fieldhouse Saturday, January 8th, 2011 as they take on Texas A&M-Kingsville.  Tipoff is at 7pm.
