Coming off a heartbreaking five-set loss at Tarleton State Friday evening, A&M-Commerce fell behind early in the opening set to 12th-ranked Angelo State. The Lions showed their resolve, pulling to within one at 22-21 and again at 23-22. But the rally came up short as the Rambelles took the opener 25-22, setting the tone for the remainder of the match.

Angelo State never trailed on the afternoon as the match was tied just once early in the first set. The Rambelles raced out to early leads in both the second and third sets, pulling away in both to record identical 25-17 victories in both to defeat the Lions in straight sets.
